Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Spend ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United Kingdom to use the Service. By creating an account you confirm that you meet these requirements.

Spend allows you to upload CSV bank statement exports to identify recurring charges, analyse spending patterns, and access informational suggestions on how to reduce costs. The Service is provided "as is" and we make no guarantees regarding savings, deals availability, or subscription detection accuracy.

The deals database (cancel & rejoin offers, bundle wins, alternatives) is curated by us and may not reflect current market rates. Always verify a deal independently before acting on it.

The Free plan includes:

• Up to 3 months of transaction history
• Up to 10 subscriptions shown
• Up to 3 deal matches

Free plan features may change with reasonable notice. We will not reduce free plan access without at least 30 days' notice by email.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as shown at sign-up. Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods except where required by UK consumer law (14-day cooling-off right applies to new subscriptions).

Mobile subscriptions are processed via Apple App Store or Google Play. Cancellation and refund policies are governed by Apple or Google's terms respectively.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email and may cancel before the new pricing takes effect.

You own your transaction data. By saving data to our servers you grant us a limited licence to process it to provide the Service. We do not sell your data or use it to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any CSV files you upload (e.g. that they are your own bank statements or you have the account holder's permission).

You must not:

• Upload CSV files belonging to other people without their express consent
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Share, sell, or transfer your account to another person
• Introduce malicious code or attempt to disrupt the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law:

• We are not liable for any financial loss resulting from acting on information provided by the Service
• Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

The Spend brand, software, deals database, and all content on this platform are owned by ACHVMNT Ltd. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
